I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful and badass woman in 2023, to quickly learn that she was an amazing person who impacted the world of psychotherapy for the better. I was graciously invited by her to her home for a Christmas event she would throw yearly, for her fellow colleagues to gather and socialize before the holidays. I was then honored to be asked to be a guest her educational podcast, Cal Psychiatry. Dr Josephine McNary made significant change in the field of psychology, psychiatry and mental health with her actions and determination to help others. With the little time I know her I felt an immense impact by her and am grateful to have crossed paths with such an amazing, honorable, and impactful person.
